Social Life

You may have your own reasons for not having social life under your radar as a priority but becoming a social person not only helps in growing up your network but also improves one's mental health. For instance, a person with good social presence is known for having a happy life than the one who sits in his home with his pet without having any conversations with people in or around him.

However, if it has been a tough question in your life book without a proper answer then dive into the solution pages on how to make yourself social.

- Welcome invitations

Haul off those moments of shattering down invitations you receive every weekend.Rather than turning your invitation box more into a dustbin that never you look back take a peek into the better way of spending your weekend by saying yes to invitations. A wedding, a reception, a rendezvous or a simple dinner party with old friends, select anything whatever it takes to mingle with people and try to inactivate that button of reluctance when your friend or a co-worker offers you an invitation.

- Art of prioritizing

Your worksheet might be inundating with a heavy flow of work but prioritizing things is imperative in everyone's life. Don't settle up yourself with work from all the day to night and try not to shove the pressure even to your home. Get sometime to relax with your relatives and close friends by giving priority to your social life.

- Know yourself and act

People who fall under the category of antisocial mostly have a trait of being more judgemental than people who are social. Anti-socialists easily pass down judgements about others but they don't like to accept judgements from others. So before you want to become a social person, bend that nerve of judging others more intensely whereas accept the fact that people have both positive and negative qualities.

Make a list of your own positive and negative qualities, and often try to show up your positive side and slowly kick down those negative factors you have as it helps to forgive mistakes of others and tend you to get more close to others.

- Make your presence worthy

'If your presence doesn't make an impact, your absence won't make a difference,' heard this quote? Most of the people may! It clearly explains the importance of a person's presence. If you're are mundane and your actions are not making any sense though being around people, it doesn't adds value to you. Your humour, intelligence, way of cracking jokes or anything can enthral people. So look for the best qualities you have to tighten up the relations you have or engage some totally new connections.

But it doesn't mean to draw attention of people whom you don't like to get close with and it also doesn't mean that you have to put yourself down in the practice of getting social.

- No narrow mind towards new people

Narrow mind towards new people. This may be one quality of yours stopping you from being a more social person, and also it is the same pulling you back from spending some good time with others in the future. Just because you don't know anything about a person, it doesn't means that the person won't fit in your life,. Try to know them before rejecting them, get their positives and look for things what you have in common instead of seeking the differences you may have.
