Five hacks for your content marketing

- By Shalini K, 02 September 2020 | 2 MIN READ

SEO Writing Assistant Tool analyses texts online, answers queries of a Content marketing professional of how to optimize the content by providing information about keywords targeted, word count, readability score, and plagiarism based on best-performing articles in Google’s top-10 for given keywords in a given location.

Target keywords

To maximize the visibility of your content the optimal number of target keywords used should be 15. Most content writers use an average of two target keywords in their articles and use an old SEO practice of creating different texts for each search query. Determine the keywords you want your content to be shown for in Google and optimize your article for more than just one keyword to make your content appear in searches for more than one query.

Devices and Locations

Google search engine results page or SERP displays different pages for mobiles and desktops and it is same with locations also. Traffic from mobile devices is more than half of the Global traffic. Content writer should always tailor the text, specific to devices and specific to regions.

Text Length

The average content length is 810 words and for top 20 rankings is 500 words but whereas average content length for the top 3 rankings is 750 words. Longer pages tend to rank higher.

Text Readability

Flesch-Kincaid reading-ease scale is used for measuring most important metrics of the text readability. Higher the score, it’s easier to read. 39 is the average readability score for articles that have not been optimized.

Always check the text for plagiarism, create unique content to avoid Google’s penalties. To improve your SERP rankings and get more traffic to your website give your audience exactly what they want, follow best practices in creating content and most importantly optimize your keywords.
