Clarity leads to accountability

It is always good to do something which is close to your heart, whether it is a small piece of work or a journey which would lead to transform the world. How do you make it better when you choose to do something? And most importantly, what would you like to do when you have many things to do?

As Michael Porter said, “The essence of strategy is choosing what not to do”.

While you feel excited to do many things in business or any other service which impacts the community and its stakeholders who get benefit out of your work, it is important for you to sharpen your thoughts and strategize one or two things and start communicating to the external world.

There are some important questions you must consider while strategizing what you intended to do:

-              Deciding on ‘what to do?’ What is your mission?

-              Whom do you want to impact? The community, the stakeholders, etc.

-              Why do you want to do what you want to do? What is your purpose?

-              How do you do? What is your strategy to administer your ‘what’?

-              What is your vision? What direction you would want to take? What is your roadmap?

-              What are your short-term and long-term goals?

-              Whom do you partner with in accomplishing your goals?

Answering these questions will give you more clarity in accomplishing the greater purpose
