Awesome morning habits to start your day

How is your morning routine like? Do you have any morning habits which you follow regularly? Are you aware that morning habits can impact your life in a huge way? Good early morning habits can make us more productive leading to a purposeful life. Starting our day in the right manner also makes us more productive.

Most of us have heard the phrase “early to bed, early to rise”; this phrase is not only for children but adults as well. The secret of many successful is good morning habits which they religiously follow.

If you don’t follow morning routines, make small changes to your habits which can create tremendous impact on your life and profession. Make a habit of going to sleep early or having enough sleep required by your body and start your day with a positive attitude.

Technology has taken over our lives like never before. Do not fall into to the trap of checking your messages or emails early in the morning. This is very unhealthy habit which can impact your life in a negative way.

Early morning good habits can be as simple as reading a book, spend time with your kids or loved ones or have healthy breakfast. I will break down early morning habits into 3 aspects which are physical, mental and spiritual habits.
These habits can bring extraordinary change to your life.

Physical Habits

Physical fitness or health is undeniable. As soon as you get up drink sufficient warm water with fresh lemon even before you drink your cup of coffee or tea. The benefits of this habit are tremendous like good digestion and great metabolism.  

Exercise or sweat to burn the fat in your body. This habit will keep your body in best shape. Exercise need not be rigorous; you can go for a jog or step into gym to keep your body active and more energetic. Yoga is also a best habit to follow for over wellness. It also brings peace and calmness to your mind. Make sure get enough physical exercise. Even small exercises like stretching will relieve your body from muscle tensions, help in blood circulation and makes you feel energetic.

Mental Habits

As soon as you get up from your bed, just smile and thank God that you are alive. When you start your daily with good mood or attitude, you are most likely to be capable of handling any situation that comes across during the day.

Take few moments to express your gratitude for all the best things in your life, your family, job, possessions, friends etc. Be kind to yourself and appreciate all nice things or qualities you have.

Start your day the night before. Make a list of very important tasks or actions you are going to take or do that day, tasks that really matter and are of great significance to you. Go through the list and visualize the actions or process of accomplishing those tasks. This habit will bring lot of positive affirmations helping you to accomplish those tasks without fail. Your productivity will sky rocket when you go through this habit and make it part of your daily routine.

Spiritual Habits

It is imperative to be connected to the source of our creation or universe. Meditation can bring that balance to your life. Make sure to spend enough time 20-30 mins every day. Sit in a comfortable position and focus on your breath. Meditation will help you to stay focused, be cheerful and be in sync with your mind and body.

If you are not sure of meditation, do little research and enrol in program so that you can learn basic of mediation. There are many forms of meditations like kriya meditation, dynamic meditation, transcendental meditation etc. If it’s too much for you, you can start the process by praying to the almighty you believe in.  

Meditation is very old ancient tradition or technique, but it’s still practiced in cultures all over the world to create a sense of calm and inner harmony.

Make these habits a regular part of your life. You can see tremendous possibilities in your life which you might have not experienced before. The way you start your day will reflect on the overall experience of your life. Without any negligence embrace these habits for a purposeful life.
