After having been crowned the International Association of Athletics Federation's Athlete of the Year for the sixth time, you'd think Usain Bolt would be patting himself on the back. But the Jamaican Olympian says he regrets not taking the sport more seriously from an early age. "Maybe I would have been at four Olympics," Bolt told reporters before the ceremony on Friday. Bolt says his wake up call was a 2007 loss to Tyson Gray at the Osaka world championships. The 29-year-old says his coach gave him a challenge. He told reporters, "He said: 'You're slacking off in the gym. If you want to win you have to get stronger.’ So I was like ‘alright’. I knew what I needed to do and from then I took the step and just worked and worked."
