Think of the last-minute preparation, and a few of us thought if we could buy some extra time – Students must prioritize and stay focused during the exam time. A proper schedule could help them reduce their stress levels with better chances of doing well in a career.
There are always smarter ways to accomplish targets. We’ve some useful hacks for students to manage time efficiently.
Sketch out a plan: Identity the priorities task-based. Have a physics exam around the corner? give it the supreme priority, prepare and finish the chapters, keep buffer time for revisions.
Your most productive time zones: Curve out your own time zones. But don’t go against the biological clock! Some students prefer the nights over day time. Give it a try. Select a working time zone that will help you complete your lessons much faster and with better retention.
The app that works best for you: There is a wide range of apps in the play store that can help you to arrange a neat and organized plan. Many of the To-Do list apps come with alarms and timers coupled with some amazing features. Just make sure you stick to a single app that can help you organize your tasks.
Keep an eye on the clock: Take breaks in-between lessons, cramming textbooks without pauses makes you a victim of boredom. Keeping eye on clock-time can just help you to organize effectively.
Microlearning: Try breaking tasks into smaller chunks; work on a to-do list (Do not try this during exams).
Limit social media activities: Limit your participation in social media. Do not get addicted. Check or post social channels when you have ample of time after your semester or during summer vacations. You can always delete the apps before the exam and install them later.
Do not procrastinate
Should avoid putting things away that you can do today. Procrastination is a muddle; you will soon find yourself struggling to find a healthy balance between school, work, and social life. Resolve things right away. They say “a stitch in time saves nine.
Good time management skills can help students to prioritize tasks and help them to plan effectively. Without a proper timetable, students struggle to find time to complete their assignments leading them to a condition of stress and anxiety. By following the above time management strategies both student and parent can avoid last-minute panic and school stress behind them.
