How to be more productive in a day?

We all want that extra hour or some additional time to get more work done, to embrace glee and to seize success but it's a sore fact that it's impossible. We all have that 24 hours in a day like everyone else to finish off things but how some are winning in the game of life and some are seeking the point to get shine? Here comes our friend 'being productive' in to the plot, the reason behind the most successful people in the world.

Remember, the possibilities are never ending to be more productive and get more work done. Here are some of the best to give a try.

  1. It may be the hardest time in a day where your body and mind totally work against to you but rule them with your desire to be successful. Wake up early, atleast an hour to power your day.
  2. How can we forget "Health is wealth". Assign your body some tasks each day to stay fit and healthy. If you can save time from resting on bed due to illness is anyways an additional time.
  3. Don't stop the flow. During the time you totally immersed into the work, if you find any sources that disturb you, kick them off and stick to your flow.
  4. Weekends are exquisite to freshen up mind and body and to prepare them for the coming week but allotting sometime in the weekends to plan the impending week can save your time.
  5. No multi-tasking. Switching from one task to the other never gives the productivity you wanted to have. Take a task, think on it, act on it, complete it and again repeat.
  6. One of the biggest time eating bug of this generation is internet, no doubts. So curb your fingers to do not search unnecessary stuff and out of your to-do list. After all, to improve yourself and career might had been the first thought prompted you to get your first internet connection, isn't it?
  7. Start a task and complete it like you would never touch it again. Adding changes or cutting it's tails, any of these can chop off your time. Do it like first time is last time.
  8. Procrastination is the biggest foe that never helps but keeps things in pending. So, it's a big no-no.
  9. Power your concentration with daily meditation. Good focus and concentration always helps to check off tasks on your to-do list.
  10. When you're planning your tasks in a day, arrange the order from tough to easy. Start doing hard task first, moderate next and easy at last.
  11. Drinking more water saves us from getting dehydrated and being energetic. Drink plenty of water every day.
  12. Do you travel more than 10 minutes a day? Then use your commute time for learning some new words, building general awareness or to get know about what happens in your city.
  13. Do not do list. Like the way you prepare a to-do list, get a list of things you really don't want to do inorder to stop deviating your mind.
  14. Everything starts with a single step and adding one step to another creates the big. Try to maintain consistency and keep on doing things as a routine to find them big one day.
  15. Before you hit the bed, ask yourself have you made justice to the day or wasted time with the things that don't add any prospect to tomorrow.
