By wochit 07 November 2016

New research says that the common swift flies for up to 10 months continuously in a year. The common swift can be found across Europe, West Asia and right across Northern India. This would easily be the new record for longest time in flight. Since Swifts can live up to 20 years in age, their total flight distance over a lifetime can work out to an incredible seven round trips between the Earth and Moon.
